About This Fish

The NGT Datnoid is a highly desirable Datnoid prized by collectors for its distinctive coloration, vertical barring, predatory behavior, and impressive appearance as it matures.

At approximately 2 inches, these are small juvenile specimens offering aquarists the opportunity to grow their Datnoid from an early stage. Juvenile Datnoids benefit from stable water conditions, excellent filtration, appropriate foods, and tankmates that will not bully or consume them.

As they grow, their deep-bodied profile and contrasting pattern make them increasingly impressive display fish.

Approx. Size: 2"
Temperament: Predatory/Semi-Aggressive
Diet: Carnivore
Care Level: Intermediate/Advanced

Packing was great

Packing was great. Both are doing very well. I put a couple of small feeder guppies in to help acclimate them to their new home.

Thanks again, Michael! Really glad both NGT Datnoids arrived healthy and are settling in well. These guys are awesome fish and should only get better as they grow and become more comfortable. Appreciate you continuing to trust Rob’s Aquatics with your fish!
