Golden Leopard Pacu (Utiaritichthys longidorsalis)

Size: Approximately 3 inches | Wild Caught | Rare South American Import

The Golden Leopard Pacu (Utiaritichthys longidorsalis) is an extraordinary South American characin recognized for its stunning golden-green coloration, distinctive dark spotting, and unique disc-shaped body. Also known as the Folha Pacu, this rarely encountered species is a remarkable addition to any exotic freshwater fish collection.

Unlike the commonly available Red Belly Pacu, the Golden Leopard Pacu features an intricate leopard-like pattern scattered across its body, creating a truly striking appearance. Its combination of unusual markings, active swimming behavior, and limited availability in the aquarium trade makes it especially appealing to collectors seeking something different.
