Albino Silver Arowana (2–3”) – Rare Juvenile Showpiece
The Albino Silver Arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum) is a stunning variation of the classic South American Silver Arowana. At just 2–3 inches, these juveniles already showcase their elongated body, signature barbels, and brilliant albino coloration with striking red or pink eyes.
This is a true monster fish centerpiece that grows into an impressive, surface-cruising predator when provided proper space and care.

- Diet: Carnivorous – high-quality pellets, frozen foods, insects, shrimp, and occasional fresh protein
A tight-fitting lid is mandatory. Silver Arowanas are powerful jumpers and can easily clear open tops
Temperament & Tank Mates
Albino Silver Arowanas are semi-aggressive and predatory. Suitable tank mates include:
- Large plecos
- Peacock bass
- Datnoids
- Large cichlids
- Other similarly sized monster fish
Avoid small fish—they will become food as the Arowana grows.
